About CWE
China Welding Exposition (CWE) was founded in 1985. China Electric Equipment Industry Association, China Electric Welding Machine Industry Professional Association, together with Chengdu Electric Welding Machine Research Institute, which is the only State-level electric welding machine research institute, sponsor it. CWE is one and the only welding industry show cooperated by China Petroluem, China Shipping, China Heavy Machinery, China Weapon Industry Association and China Workers General Association Welding Technology Subcommittee. CWE has the longest history in the Chinese welding equipment and interrelated components manufacture show industry, which has extensive effect and nation-wide appreciation in the Chinese welding industry. It is a custom to hold the CWE every spring in one of the Chinese big industrial cities, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Tianjin, Wuhan, Qindao etc. At present, the show's scale has become more the 1000 standard stands(booths), the exhibit area has access 23000 M2. During the last 18 expositions, more than 2000 exhibitors and nearly 800,000 spectators have take part in the event, which makes China Welding Exposition (CWE) become the biggest welding show scale in China and became one of the most important welding shows in Asia.
As a membership of the World Trade Organization, China has speed up its industrialization process, which provide a wider market space for the welding industry. The 19th China Welding Exposition will hold during the 13th to 16th of April 2005 in Shenyang city -the industry center of the northeast region.
